Natural-looking & durable crowns in a single visit with breakthrough CEREC technology!

  • Porcelain Veneers
  • Porcelain Inlays & Onlays

  • Have you ever had to make several trips to the dentist to complete a treatment or procedure? We figure you have better ways to spend your time.

Having dental work done is not something people usually look forward to.

Many dental techniques have relied on the use of temporary crowns or fillings, requiring the patient to come back two to three weeks later for their permanent replacement. That means double the work and double the time in the dental chair to fix the problem.

But thanks to modern technology and over fifteen years of experience, Dr. Moore can complete most dental procedures in just a single visit. Now when you come in and need a crown, an inlay or even veneers, you can walk out with your new teeth in the same visit, thanks to the breakthroughs of CEREC (Ceramic REConstruction) technology.

And that way, you can spend more time on the things that matter to you most.

    Before & After

Crowns can take up to three visits and the use of a temporary to fully restore your tooth. With CEREC technology this can be done in a single visit while you are in the chair! CEREC's precision 3-D technology allows us to create a customized crown that fits your teeth perfectly and is completely biocompatible with your own teeth structure.

crowns done on her front teeth to alleviate this problem. This procedure also brightened

    What is CEREC?

CEREC is an acronym for CEramic REConstruction. It consists of three simple steps that can be used to create perfect full and partial tooth restorations in minutes. Here's how it works:

After the dentist has prepared the tooth by clearing away any tooth decay or old fillings that need to be replaced we take a 3-dimensional photo of your tooth using a digital x-ray camera.

Our computer system analyzes your mouth structure to determine the optimum shape and dimensions for your new veneer, crown or filling.

Your new tooth is milled out of a small block of ceramic using a diamond-cutter. This process takes 4 to 6 minutes depending on the size of the replacement tooth. Your dentist then bonds the new ceramic replacement into place.

    Bio-compatible materials

CEREC restorations are milled from a single block of high-quality ceramic, a substance that is particularly compatible with the body and that has the same characteristics as normal, healthy dental enamel. CEREC ceramic expands in the same way as teeth, and also because it comes from a single block, a CEREC restoration is less prone to cracks and flaws than other restorations.

Dr. Moore recommends CEREC restorations due to their durability; typically, CEREC restorations he has seen, even after several years, are in the same condition as when first placed.

    Tooth-Colored, Durable Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are a type of filling that are used as a restoration of a broken-down tooth or may replace an existing large filling. Inlays are designed for tooth damage affecting the indented portion of the top of the tooth and onlays are for more extensive damage. They are used when the damage is not severe enough to require a crown.

The CEREC system allows us to create beautiful tooth-colored inlays and onlays both for front and back teeth that match the color and appearance of the rest of your teeth. It creates the same translucence, color and brilliance as that of your natural healthy teeth.

Inlays and Onlays in One Visit

Inlays and onlays can sometimes take several visits and require temporaries; using the CEREC system we can apply these in one visit, often in less than an hour.
